Interesting concept. It seems best suited for grassy areas with minimal obstacles to hang up on.

It seems not much worse than a spray rig.

One of the big pluses for me is wind drift is not a factor.

That's what I like about the weed wiper idea the most as it should eliminate wind drift. I'm not sure how well something like the weed wiper would work on our lovely tumbleweeds.

Nics pics.

I don't know much about tumbleweeds, but this sucker will put the herbicide directly on the plant. It is going to be a winner for my johnson grass.

24D is bad news for tumble weeds and doesn't hurt any pasture grasses that I am aware of. Tumble weeds, careless weeds and nightshade are my biggest problem. I've been using a 20 foot sprayer but I planted alfalfa this year and have been looking for a machine just like this. I'm going to give them a call.

I'm not sure what kind of weed control you plan to use, but weedkiller is designed to control "dicots". Grasses are "monocots" and that's why when you spray them only the weeds are killed. I don't think weed killer will work on Johnson grass.

roundup will work on johnson grass. I borrowed my neighbors homemade wich applicator once last year to get rid of that stuff. It worked great. I had several patches of it in my bermuda pasture and I spend a lot of time on that grass to make it look perfect.
All the neighbors said I'd never be able to make it grow but I showed them.

All it takes is round the clock watering, a ton of fertilizer every 30 days and a shot of 2-4D a couple times a year.
I hate being told I can't do something.
