Hey Eddie, I would put some anti-seize on those stainless bolts before getting the two dis-similar metals (stainless and iron)hot by running the engine... They like to seize up when heat is added... not sure if you had any bad experiences with this before ,but you don't want to... especially considering the potential of something that may be changed on an annual basis (thermostat/'s) /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

In that case, be sure Steph's standing by with the camera ready and focused when you start it the first time. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Might get some good action photos. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Nope, I put some Duralube on the threads and tightened it up. Hopefully I'll be done with the dozer and sell it before I have to replace the thermostats. Do you really replace them every year? I've never heard of that.

I was watching Dirty Jobs last night and they had a John Deer track loader with no ROPS on it for getting under a house they were moving. That must have been a real popular tractor for Deere.

I've been trying to start it without any luck. I can squirt a shot of starting fluid into the intake and it will fire right up, but then it dies.

I think I'm not getting any fuel, but don't know how to fix this.

Bled the system?? New fuel filters?? Fill the filter containers with diesel....Check your injector pump timing...BobG in VA
