I came across a pair of FREE cast iron table saw extensions on the weekend. I used them for making welding setup squares based on the ones available from Fireball Tools:
https://fireballtool.com/
Cuts were made with bandsaw, abrasive cut off saw, and angle grinder with zip cut wheel. I used 1/8” stainless 309L rods at 96 amps for welding the CRS flat bar to the cast iron.
I did mention free didn’t I.....?
