nice trailer. I like the drawer space in the back. However if I may suggest something. Maybe it would be a good idea to weld on couple swivel wheels under that drawer cabinet do to low clearance. You never know- you might encounter a speed bump or hill that would drag on that cabinet. I am sure you don't want to ruin your pretty trailer.![]()
Radioman I guess there's a bit of risk involved with anything . The trailer was build to serve basically two customers we have. One has a farm and the other a heavy equipment company. We started out doing all there mechanical repairs years ago but somewhere along the way we ended up doing all there machining and welding so they've come to rely on us. The only weakness we had was no way to do there mobile welding so that's how the Miller Trailblazer came along. After deciding I was going to build a trailer for the machine the wife asked "how much will it cost"? I replied "maybe around $1500." As I started in building the thing all these crazy ideas starting popping into my little brain and at the end of the build I was just past $4000. for the thing.
Don't worry. I know where this trailer will be going. The bottom drawer isn't much of a concern to me. I've been off road with it and have had no problems and being off road is a very rare situation, There's no speed bumps around these parts and I can't think of a road that's not paved. I've also added a rear view camera to the truck like the one I put in the tractor to help illuminate the possibility of hitting something. With the rear shocks on the trailer it soaks up bumps on the road better than the truck pulling it. Glad you like it.
Close to the end of the video you may have noticed another crazy looking welding outfit. That is the "Crazy Cart" I built for the Miller Dynasty DX200. It features a full drawer, fenders, custom exhaust, step bumper with mini license plate and even has a mini trailer hitch on it. It is built to look like a hot rod. I'll be doing a video on that one in the next day or two so stay tuned. I'll post on here. Thanks for your post!
