Yep, my favorite of the 4 I've owned was the Grand. I loved the coil springs on the rear, it could eat up the bumps, really comfy Jeep. My 99 needs leafs again, bah. It's an amazing snow mover for a skinny driveway though. That's the only reason I've put the time into replacing so much swiss cheese metal. The frame has been patched with frame stiffeners.
The black GC is using stock Jeep coil fronts in the rear and lift coils in the front. Yep. Work great and very dependable.
No other company has came close to presenting vehicles that are so dependable and useable as Jeep.
I have no experience with the new JKs so will step back from claimed they fit into this mold.
My wife drives a 2011 GC. It's a great traveling vehicle. It's a Jeep as you and I know one only by the emblems on the vehicle.
