In my part of the city 36 hours and counting...
Many thought it would be similar to when a car takes out a power pole. A few hours and power restored
Even when the order to restore is given PGE still needs to do visually check all lines which can take a day or two
ATT has service pickups with generators or inverters which I see at nodes everywhere powering Internet... Not needed for old copper and DSL
A few adjustments made... the county morgue was in PSPS zone... someone probably said not a good idea as the street and building is now powered
The rentals on all these Gensets big and small must be costing a small fortune... maybe down the road some deals on used Multiquip?
Learned PGE does not allow the Meter Interlock for backup power... a little pricey but very much foolproof as I see it
Anyone use one?
