Hydraulically activated levers for the SSQA. so you can change from the bucket to the forks without leaving the seat

We had a JD 544 (circa 1980?) with that type of option. Changed back and forth between bucket and forks frequently. That hyd circuit was its only purpose and it paid for itself handsomely.

Only thing I see listed that I would pay good money for is the 3PH control that you can reach from the ground. Hooking up implements on my cabbed 2650 can be a huge pain in the derriere.

I've added:

A cell phone holder that clamps on the door bar - About $10

A digital clock on the dash - About $3

A thermometer on the RH mirror so I can giggle about how comfy I am in the AC while it's 80 or 90 degrees outside. - About $1

An ammo box for tools and pins to the RH loader mount. - Free, I have a crapload of them laying around.

As to the hydraulic SSQA pins - I suppose, if I were a contractor, but I'm so tickled that I don't have to deal with lining up pins that I giggle every time I switch from the bucket to the forks and back.

I haven't seen it mentioned, but the best safety feature on my LS is the automatic 4WD engagement when ever the brakes are pressed. I think all tractors should have this feature. No need to run around with 4WD engaged when not needed for traction just so you don't forget to engage it when going down a hill.

So I'm started wondering about making a list of universal tractor features that all tractors could use as original equipment.

How about it, TBNers? Have you added some favorite feature to your tractor? The kinds of thing that would be OEM if the people designing tractors had ever actually used a tractor themselves?

Things like a REAL TOOLBOX along and some place to store chains & ropes. Maybe even a way to carry a shovel, prybar, and saw.
AFAIK, there hasn't been a tractor made with those basic items in the last 50+ years.

What about a simple electrical outlet to use tractor battery power for other things? Like jumping a vehicle with a flat battery....

How about going full hog and adding an air compressor or water pump as standard equipment?
Those are pretty simple to do, and either one would be handy. Nice selling points, too.

What would you like to see as OEM on every tractor? Maybe we can get the manufacturers to listen.

For my M59:
Air ride seat. Cloth covered seats. Factory cab option. Brush grill with fine HD mesh to stop errant branches from puncturing my rad. Cruise control. More hydraulic flow for tractor and remotes. Electronic solenoid valves for controlling all hydraulics, remotes and backhoe functions. Full flow hydraulic remotes for front and back. Multiple hydraulic remotes for front. Noise suppression. Diesel tanks should only ever be placed where we can fill them from ground level and NOT under the bonnet where I have to climb on top of tires etc. to fill the tank. I wish I could aim the exhaust tip to stop blowing carbon on my loader boom. Eliminate Hi-Med-Low range mechanical levers and replace with electronic actuated shifter lever like on real backhoes or larger tractors. Make the cab seat deck 4 inches wider for steel toe boots to swivel in the seat better. Hand grab bar above the control panel. Idiot lights on a front console by the steering wheel i.e. brake indicator and warning lamps in front of me not just on the side rear of my seat. Shorter parking brake lever that doesn't hit the seat base when rotating the seat. Down pressure on the 3PH. And a deep cup holder that will actually hold a water bottle. A 15A 120VAC outlet would be handy sometimes...

Kubota OEM seats are brutal in general as they lack any real suspension. I feel like I'm constantly sliding off the seat.

In general I am very happy with my M59 now that I added an aftermarket cab.

Tilt wheel is only option desired that I might desire. Although I have owned many tractors and never had this option, difficult to prove it would really be of benefit. Most other conveniences can be added. I have done so w/ an aftermarket cab. Loaders, QA attachment capability, lighting, service valves including 3rd function, seating improvements, grill protection, lower link enhancements, hyd top link, mirrors, other cab features like wipers and HVAC, ALL can be added, even draft control in many instances, BUT the tilt wheel is factory only. Track width is adjustable on the MX.
One comment Suggested a standard air compressor. Just looked at a new ZETOR, an air compressor is standard equipment.

EDIT:

NO Offense but the Quite a few tractors have tilt wheel does very little for my circumstance.

LOU, Oliver tractors were 10 years ahead of the competition, folks just were not ready.

Depending on what cans you have you can get good spouts from EZPourSpout.com, and depending on what state you live in you might have to buy spouts for "water" cans instead of "fuel" cans. You can also buy vents (I think I got some on Amazon) that you just drill a hole in the plastic can and pop them in.

Tractor Supply sells a spout & vent kit to retrofit your fuel can to one that actually pours. They are about $10.

Or if your handy drill a hole in the can and install a tire valve stem with out the core.

install valve stem and apply a bit of dish soup, I use dollar store stuff and makes good hand cleaner too.

pull it up thru the hole, sorry for the blurryness.

hold it in place and install a valve stem tool, then pull.

Finished, all that you need to do now is install a valve cap till pouring then remove it.

Funny thing about those EZ pour spouts is they are not very strong and break.

I also have some pictures here some place to look up on how to fix those spouts you have to push on to open.

I would like to see the tractors with cabs have an intermittent windshield wiper feature. All of our vehicles have this and its hard to believe when the manufacturers ask nearly ten grand for their cabs that they couldn't install a upgraded wiper switch that lets us adjust to just to the occasional wipe. It would be nice when we are getting just a very light mist. I would also like to see a LED headlight/work light upgrade option from the factory. I have converted all of the halogen over to LEDs (including headlights) but a factory option would be nice. John deere offers it on their 5000 series tractors as an option so why not do it on the 3000 and 4000 tractors with factory cabs. Golly, I will bet they could actually make a profit offering it. I actually got the kit that Deere sells for the 5000 tractors and installed on my 4066r. The lights are made my JWspeaker. The difference in light output is amazing. I had to make some new brackets but the lights look like they were installed at the factory.
