I just knocked the loose stuff off (mostly surface rust). POR really doesn't go over painted surfaces to well and seems like it is thinned out. It actually seems to thicken some when actually painted over rust and covers better.Good to hear that you’ve tried it with success! Did you knock any of the rust off, or just roll right over it as-is?

I used the POR15 Gloss Black. Same that I used on my trucks rear-end. That is where I got the idea from as it held up to the sandblasting that it gets when going down the road that I figured it would stand up to a snowblower. Plus, it seems the surface it leaves is pretty smooth.
