John is back from the dealer after a drive of over 200Km. I didn't see the smile on his face but overall he is okay now. He told me that the manager statement was: "It was a confusion which never will happen again". So, his theory was that the sale guy "accidentally" wrote a s/n from other unit instead the one which John was looking and the shop prepared that unit instead of the new one. Anyhow John said he learn two thinks plus another: check the s/n before sign the paper, write down the hours on papers to avoid any discussion and never trust a dealer.
Consolation: he got 1000$ on a prepaid card for fuel and the tractor will be deliver tomorrow morning. I told him, better check the card before.:laughing:
Newbery I found this a few pages back. It was a fast moving thread.
I think a lot of new buyers make the same mistake of getting too excited to pay attention to details that can bit later or at least I have.
