What are the "weak spots" on your tractor?

Re: What are the \"weak spots\" on your tractor?

We had an International with a real manly steel step. Unfortunately when you catch then it rips a portion of the cab off with it.

Some big ag machines have rigid steps for the top two, and a flexible lowerone so if you bury the machine in mud it will flex out of the way.

One more for the list: Transport (chain) attachment points at all four corners.

You sure 'nuff caught me lurking for 5 years now, 5030. I do learn a lot from y'all, just don't often feel I can enlighten you. I'll respectfully disagree with your wife on the HST, though: my plan is the M4700 is the last tractor I'll ever own, and I need it to last another 30-40 years. And I put my money on an ordinary tranny to do that. Plus I don't do much back and forth with my tractor; it usually pulls an orchard sprayer. But I'll take the marriage advice from your wife, 5030.

Great idea cheesehead. Chain d-rings or hooks built in would be great.
