"Cupboard doors and kitchen drawers that are not completely closed."
My wife is an "overstuffer," on the clothing drawers and closets. It use to drive me to distraction, but I learned how to drink more often and not care.

I worked with "challenged persons," for near a decade and I learned that it is very important to make sure their world is just SO. One co-worker absolutely had to have a yellow, space lined, tablet and four colors pens; red, green, blue and black.
He would completely freak out if he didn't have these. He would go into flop sweat, and be un-consolable. He used these to record how he was testing computer equipment: Each color had meaning to him. I thought this to be a good system.
Admin wouldn't let me buy these, for my reasons explained that this guy needs these things to function, - I should have come up with different reasons to PO these -, but any way, I personally bought a case of the yellow tablets, the right size, and multiples of the red, green, blue and black pens and hid those away to be pulled out as needed. It took seven years to slowly wean him off of this needed set of items. One pen at a time. One substituted white tablet at a time. He is now free of them, an a very valued employee, that anyone else, would say was normal.

Crooked??
Yes, why would the RV manufacturer have a template to put in those female flanges straight?

On that note, it bugs the heck out of me to see a car dealership's name sticker put on crooked. Don't let the minim wage kid put those on, thell be seen by thousands of people and it shows your lack of detail.

Boston? Really? I get the other 2. But Boston?

YES, I get "More Than A Feeling" ... and it ain't a good thing.

(ask anybody what Boston song they know, and 98% will give this answer) TOTAL OVERPLAY ... uggh, grrr

I'm actually not OCD ... it took me forever to come up with the list in my earlier post. My wife, and all members of her family are hyper uber OCD and it manifests differently for each of them.

I agree that "More Than a Feeling" was overplayed but I disagree that the band isn't great. It was during my 70's yers but it was a million copies short of the number 1 best selling debut album of all time. (Guns And Roses #1)

Some times I walk on to a car lot just to see how they are going to mess with me. I have no intention to buy any thing, I want to hear their script. What they have been told to say. Its only valuable to me, and mostly amusing. I don't do this often. Yet, I can't believe why anyone would buy a new car or truck these days. It is OCD in the sense that I want to hear their lies. And I want to savor those lies for latter: Hold them, digest them and collect them for when my brand new engine they sold me fails.

So why can't I just buy a new car, set price on the internet anywhere ..... well you can't, cause there is legal special compensation for Car Dealerships to create and have excursive zones and set prices: Its the law.

Okay. That Sucks.

OCD was always going to make the world better: Embrace it if it is built in to you, for others, you should be more OCD.

I don't worry about dealer stickers on cars that I buy. Within a month of purchasing I run the vehicle through the wash bay at work.

After hitting them with 140° water for a bit it softens the glue and they peal right off

Pet peeves aside...I'm really not ocd about anything...

I change the station asap whenever Michael Bolton, Whitney Houston, or Boston is played ..
I switch stations whenever springsteen, kenny rogers aerosmith or bob seeger comes on...

Spelling, punctuation, grammar,… I know I shouldn’t but it speaks volumes about a person based on their writings. What stands out are:

Paid/payed, their/they’re/there, lay/lie, its/it’s, learned/learnt (latter is British, like gray/grey), loose/lose, than/then, to/too to name some.

I just silently cringe and carry on.
