"Cupboard doors and kitchen drawers that are not completely closed."
My wife is an "overstuffer," on the clothing drawers and closets. It use to drive me to distraction, but I learned how to drink more often and not care.
I worked with "challenged persons," for near a decade and I learned that it is very important to make sure their world is just SO. One co-worker absolutely had to have a yellow, space lined, tablet and four colors pens; red, green, blue and black.
He would completely freak out if he didn't have these. He would go into flop sweat, and be un-consolable. He used these to record how he was testing computer equipment: Each color had meaning to him. I thought this to be a good system.
Admin wouldn't let me buy these, for my reasons explained that this guy needs these things to function, - I should have come up with different reasons to PO these -, but any way, I personally bought a case of the yellow tablets, the right size, and multiples of the red, green, blue and black pens and hid those away to be pulled out as needed. It took seven years to slowly wean him off of this needed set of items. One pen at a time. One substituted white tablet at a time. He is now free of them, an a very valued employee, that anyone else, would say was normal.
