It is the duct tape of lubrication.

Sorry 5030, but since it is about 30% petroleum based oils, it is a lubricant. It does other stuff, too. Not the best overall lubricant, but a lubricant nonetheless. Like any tool, it is only as good as the person using it. Right tool, right job. I do agree it is not what I would reach for to lube a pto shaft, but nothing wrong with it if that is what you have.

I prefer the JD Polyuretha grease. I even use it for packing the wheel bearings on my trucks. Good stuff. I used to always use Redline grease which was also good, but I prefer the JD grease.

Me, I just want to know if it is a water dispersant? Can someone tell me that? Or, is it only good at lubricating?

It's a water dispersant first and foremost, hence the WD. Just don't expect long term protection.
