What are your signs of Spring?

As a turkey hunter the best sign of spring is a an old Tom gobbling.

Love the thread.

Ice melting off the pond, the sound of Robins and Cardinals. The goldfinches start to turn yellow. The migratory waterfowl in their huge flocks coming home. The smell of wet soil, bugs in the air, green winter wheat in fields and bursting buds on the trees. Planting seeds in the greenhouse, getting a sunburn, snowdrops and crocus flowers and, of course the sideroads turn to soupy mud.

The Red-buds trees have blossomed. Followed by the Dogwoods.

The skunk cabbage blooming and the black bears coming down to feed. Drives the dogs nuts. And it's in full bloom now. Also the frogs are drowning out the TV.
