The trees green up, the flowers bloom, and the State Troopers are shooting hand held radar standing next to their units (I know their hidding places).

Purple Martins have arrived!

Snowdrops are blooming and crocus. Brown puffballs are showing up on the ground! (my name!)

Haven't heard any Redwing blackbirds yet. That's a good sign of spring for me. The mayapples aren't out of the ground yet. I don't look for the morels until I see the mayapples coming up. They seem to come up about the same time 'round here.
