What country would you live in if you could?

A lot of mention about Australia and New Zeland, problem is they drive on the wrong side of the road. Give me southern Germany (Baveria) any time. The scenery is spectacular and the people are fun loving and friendly.

I asked myself that very question about 10 years ago.

I plan on living in the United Southern States of America when it becomes a country.

Yep... Philippines! Lived there for about four years, loved it. Cheap housing, cheap food, great public transportation, swim year round in the South China Sea, 8 cent bottles of pop, 10 cent beers, $1.25 total for rum and coke all night long. It might happen in the next few years once the kids have finished college.

I'd have to see more of Texas before deciding that.

When we drover down to Corpus last year, the run from El Paso south seemed to only be scrub land. It somewhat reminded me of California transition zone in the sierra foothills, where we have, mostly scrub. Ie, manzinita, short but hardy trees, an shortish bushes. No big trees or anything.

OK, I see I'm not getting through to some. If an earth quake hit your country and it sunk and you were forced to have to go to another country where on this planet would you and your family including your dog go? If you stay where you are you will drown in salt water.

OH MY! All of us are now "boat people" searching for a friendly shore. Why is it that I think people in other countries would line their beaches with armed residents using us for target practice? Would texting while rowing be against the law?:laughing:

Well i was born in England, moved to Australia with family when i was young and now have been in the USA with my American wife for just over 12mths.. It really dont matter to me which country i live in as long as my wife is by my side and i have a Tractor :thumbsup:
