I don't recall when I formally registered.... My understanding is the sign up dates pre 2000 were lost (??)

I recall I was in a new job, started in 1995. A couple years later, we started building our house (moved in 2000 so I know I was here prior to 2000 BUT don't recall when I registered)

I was looking for a tractor, liked Kubota's and went to the www.kubota website, which was here.

Didn't have any knowledge to add so primarily read and soaked up information as best I could. I recall two names, "Wen" and "Cowboy Doc". Don't recall many details about them 20 years later other than Cowboy Doc was a sports medician physician as I recall....and had one/two daughters who rode lassoing horses competitively. Or something like that.

My wife has finally realized the wealth of knowledge that is broadly covered on this site....if she has a perplexing question, she will often say "why don't you go ask your tractor buddies"...

In the early days, my take on things here were you could literally read ALL the day's posts at one sitting. You could do this because there were only a handful of people here (relative to today) so it was easy to keep up with everything. That isn't so easy today!!

I feel like a young buck compared to some of you old farts.

Like someone earlier mentioned, I joined when we moved onto property for the first time and was active learning and participating. Then 11 years later we had to move back to the city. Nine years later and we are back on property.

You are probably looking in the wrong place. When you move the mouse over any link it will have a very small display on the very left hand bottom of your screen. Try it by moving your mouse to where it says the page numbers, like Prev or 1 ...4 5 6 7 or 8 and it will say something like "https:www.tractorbynet.com/forums etc".
That will stay on until you move your mouse or for about 20 seconds.

I did and it was a terrible machine. I won't throw the brand under the bus because the setup was not done correctly. I swapped it for a skid steer... in fact I rented a few skid steers over the past couple years. Tough to beat the power and maneuverability if you don't need a PTO.

I’m 20169. I had to pull up TBN the old fashioned way, on a computer to find out I’m just a young un. Bird shows up as 6.
