All I could say was ooo, oww, ooo, oww for a couple days.

Just kidding. Didn't have my electronics in the hospital. I felt immediate relief after the surgery. I can stand up straight again, no pain in my legs anymore, did a lot of laps at the hospital. Just have to wear a back brace for 3 months, walk a couple hours a day, and use a bone growth stimulator 2 hours a day. Weaning off the pain meds and trying to make the cat understand I can't carry him around for a while. Hope to be back to work mid-April.

Recovery is no fun, even for the spouse. My wife is learning a new way of living.

Your back brace may improve your posture. My uncle wore one for 3 months after breaking his back in the late 60's. He was instructed to put it on before he got out of bed in the morning and not to take it off until he was in bed at night.

April can't come soon enough for me either.

Thanks, but no sympathy needed. I wanted it done. Couldn't do squat since March. My employer is very understanding. I'm fortunate.

April can't come soon enough for me either.

I'm allowed to sleep with it off, or sit in a recliner with it off, but I'm wearing it almost 24/7.

I already notice that when I look at myself in the mirror from the side my back is almost a straight board. No more little bend in the lower back. I don't care for the look. But, most people don't care for my looks without a shirt on either.

VERY glad I bought those heaters! -15 here this morning!

No big deal for you guys in the upper Midwest, but it hasn't been that cold in this part of PA. for over a decade. Fortunately, there is no breeze, or the wind chill would be brutal!

I can't believe you are 20 degrees colder than me, and it's also colder south of my area.
