Just got off the old ragged edge of 4G Verizon hotspot and onto the new fiber internet they ran through town as part of some rural broadband initiative.

Went from 10 download to around a thousand.

*The town sent out a postcard a couple months ago telling everyone to sign up-ordering just got turned on for my section earlier this week.

Hated those Verizon hotspots. Starlink to rescue. No cable here. This am 188 mbps down and 12 up.

We just got Spectrum fiber with speeds up to 1 gig down our county road. I went with 2 accounts, 300 Mbps to the house and 100 Mbps to the shop, with a phone line for each. Did away with the Brightspeed home phone, Verizon LTE home internet, and the AT&T hotspot in the shop. Not only did the speeds increase and we gained a phone line in the shop, and our monthly bills for data and voice went down from $175 to $110 for both accounts.

Went to a little yard sale today down the road and ended with some old metal ramps, some good saw horses, a bunch of little cars/trucks for the kids, DVD's and a free chair. Can't beat that!!!!

My Kubota has pins attached by small chain for the drag links. Who hasn't put a pin on the tractor tire while changing attachments only to forget it and drive away... I'm still looking for a gas cap and a pair of pliers that I forgot on the fender at one time or another...
