A new (used) car for the wife.
Old car engine went at 82,000 miles, so unexpected purchase.

Quick-connect power cord for a ½" Milwaukee Hole Shooter drill motor.

This motor is at least 30 years old and I just about threw it in the trash because I thought any replacement cords for it would have been bought years ago.

A quick Google search showed one on the shelf at an Ace Hardware in the next town over. Surely that's not the one that will fit.

Sure enough, we tried it at the store and it worked!

Bought a rifle yesterday. Ruger American Ranch Gen 2 in 5.56. Handy little thing. Threaded barrel and takes AR mags, which I have a gazillion of.

An outdoor LED lamp (Lithonia Lighting) to replace the busted front right lamp on our detached garage. Several months ago I had replaced the left lamp. Now I have matching lamps in the front. The original lamps lasted about 6 to 7 years. I should now plan for the side lamps going out as well.

Echo plastic for my Shindaiwa 600SX chainsaw. Oregon chaps, gloves and headgear; have not opened the headgear box as yet. Not many positive reviews on it. May look at other options.

Unfortunately the Shindaiwa 600SX saw does not fit the case. Per Echo the case should fit all their saws with up to 20” bars. Will look for suitable alternatives.

Update: Replacement Canopy kit arrived at the dealer yesterday (06Nov2024) with the top damaged. They immediately contacted Yanmar and another kit is being shipped out. Yanmar is supposedly shipping these out on a pallet without much protection leading to damage of the plastic top during the shipment process.

Picked up the canopy kit (2nd replacement unit) today; it is in perfect condition. Installed the frame and leveled it. Placed the canopy on top to gauge fit. After centering the top on the frame, will have to drill into the canopy through 6X pre-drilled frame holes and secure the top to the frame. Will complete in the next couple of days.

Replaced worn out wheels on a Craftsman creeper. Bought a 12 pack of these wheels. I have two of these creepers and the wheels on one are fine for now. The 6X spares will be used some day.

I just picked up a craftsman one because I just bought a v20 impact driver on sale with 2 extra batteries a couple weeks ago so I already had 3 batteries. They are super handy in any case and that is a nice deal on the DeWALT.

Edit: also picked up a Kobalt 24v circular saw. Couldn’t resist the price . Works great. Used it to cut the bird mouth from a bunch of rafters for the mini cabin I’m building .

It would cost more to put heads on it than I paid for the truck. I’ll probably cut my losses and sell it to someone for a Cummins swap at that point. It pulls harder than my 7.3 and cold starts better than my 7.3 not that either of those are hard bars to top.

Got 2X of these lamps at a decent price from Woot. I have an old one that still works, but the lens is full of micro scratches.
