My wife bought a Costco membership. So we ate lunch by sampling everything in the store.
I bought a SIMPSON STRONG-TIE Quik Drive Cordless PRO300SG2 Decking System with DEWALT 2000 RPM Motor
A standup screw gun to use installing the subfloor in my new house.
Along with a box of screws.

A real back and knee saver!!

I tell mine candy helps hold my britches up.Bought a chocolate bar at the Dollar Store. It was one of those donating part of the proceeds for a cause.
Wife asked me what the cause was and I told her cause I wanted it.
Learned my lesson on not finishing what I started in the winter. It got to 16 and 20 degrees the last 2 nights and it was frozen solid. Bottom tines on my grapple dragged back and forth for hours to break it upSome gravel to put down next to the garage
Bought a replacement battery for a Dyson V7
Had to replace some footwear.
Got a pair of Lowa Merger GTX running style shoes. Then took advantage of some Black Friday sales on some Haix safety toe boots. Got the XR26 and the XR200. They haven't arrived yet, looking forward to trying them on. It's not easy finding things not made in China. The Lowas are made in Slovakia and the Haix are made in Germany.
The battery just wasn't lasting as long, so we bought a new one.Now that's interesting... All of us have vacuums, and I've always been curious about the Dysons. Thinking about getting one. Are they really worth the premium price? Why is a V7 worth buying a replacement battery for?
BTW, I thought lithium batteries lasted the life of the tool. Not so? I've not had to replace one yet.

That's great to hear another positive review of the Haix. The XR26 should deliver tomorrow, can't wait to try them on. Should have the XR200 next week.I wore Haix station boots for many years in the fire service. They make great boots, and I switched from Redwing to Haix for my daily wear boots last year. The Redwings have really failed me quality wise in recent years, literally falling apart with less than a year of moderate use.
Hmm. I still have 5.5 tons of roadbase to spread, mainly in the carport. And it's colder here. Are you saying that I should dump the trailer and wait until spring?Learned my lesson on not finishing what I started in the winter. Project Farm did his review on vacuum cleaners. Interesting results. Now that's interesting... All of us have vacuums, and I've always been curious about the Dysons. Thinking about getting one. Are they really worth the premium price? Why is a V7 worth buying a replacement battery for?

And speaking of buying, somebody please talk me out of spending nearly $3K on a small multi process welder. I'm really lusting for one.
