Not a good idea to wear the torn jeans first sunny day of the year!

How do you find operating a BH on a cab tractor, compared to open station?

Does the back glass ever get in your way?

I致e got an XR4155HC.

It's a real pain in the arse, hop on, dig 5ft, hop off move 5ft, hop on dig 5ft.....lather, rinse, repeat. BUT it beats all the heck out of a 70 grand machine, that can't ever till, bush hog, plow, or drag the hay trailer at halloween.

To be fair, I had a driver / Beer assistant so I never left the hoe except to pee in the hole.

Had been experiencing the S97 F02 error code
IMG_1187.JPG

Water in fuel.

This was not a consistent error, didn’t happen every start and often went away.
So today I replaced both the Fuel filter and the water sensor assembly.
I am curious that the sensor may be OK, just clean it up.
Anyone else with this experience?
Thoughts?

in the last few days I've finally been able to get out and get some yard clean up started! I've picked up 3 1/2 buckets full of limbs and burned, moved a pile of firewood, moved some dirt to a few low spots in the yard and spread. Getting ready to move the bush hog and the tiller up to the shop to prepare for the upcoming garden season. Next project is to level off the area next to the carport so I can add a lean too roof and pour some concrete, going to build an outdoor kitchen area there for the grills, griddle, and outdoor refrigerator

Hope we see some progress reports w/pics on this outdoor kitchen project.

Same is true even with open station. Years ago I had a 300+ft trench to dig. Painted a red line, lined it up, wife drove tractor and I did the backhoe. Actually it was quite efficient.

You did good 🤙

I couldn't do that with mine. Even with the pup seat I added so I don't have to swivel the main one, I still have to flip that forward, so no way for both to be occupied. I'd have to try the bit about leaving it in N, raising the outriggers and pushing forward with the dipper.

More burn duty. Finished off the last of the big piles. Had planned on doing them over the winter, but it was just too muddy to even stand in one place let alone run a tractor around. I still have two smaller piles to do, but won't need the tractor for them.

Spent the last two days clearing some land and hauling brush with my "Poor Man's Grapple" .

Well, what I did this week (besides trying to repair my Uncle's old Troy Bilt Rototiller) is hunker down and spent some quality time trying to cross reference an oil filter for my 2011 LS P7010. And I was successful. I got on to a HIFI Filter site in France, of all places, and their site is excellent for cross referencing oil and hydraulic filters. The specs on the LS Tractor oil filter are not available so I can make no comparisons.

So here is the results of my research: LS Tractor Oil Filter Part# 40196723 used on LS Tractors P7010C, P7020C & P7030C is now cross referenced to:

Baldwin..........#B7499
Iveco.............#504182851
Case-IH.........#87679494
Catepiller.......#4416852
New Holland..#87679494 (same as Case-IH)
Grainger........#49T335
HiFi Filter.......#S010106
Mann............#W10050
NAPA............#400061
Perkins.........#4416851
SF Filter........#SP4727
Wix..............#SL10061
Wix..............#WL10061
Fleetguard....#LF17509

I purchased a Baldwin B7499 filter today from local parts truck shop at a third of the price for the LS filter at the LS dealership The Baldwin appears to be identical to the LS except that it is red in colour. I will be continuing on with my research to cross reference the LS hydraulic filters for the above named tractors and will post the results. In the meantime for all the rest of you folks with other models of the LS Tractor just go to the HiFi-Filter site at Hifi Filter | Fourniture pour filtration, filtres a huile, air, filtre essence then to "Find A Filter" then "by cross reference" enter your filter number & search. Copy the HiFi filter number then go to the following website: Oil filter cross reference enter the filter number that you copied and search. Lots of filter options should pop up.
