What did you do to your tractor today?

I bought an OLD Dearborn 10-1 2 bottom plow, spent all day cleaning it up and the next day plowed my 1.5 acre lot for the first time. Put my new B3000 to the test for sure. I was very impressed with the results! I have never actually "plowed" before and read up on it and still made some mistakes but it ended up looking nice. Glad I didn't read it takes a 45hp min. to pull this 16" two bottom plow!! haha
Once I finally got it set it really did do a nice job of plowing. I had the FEL loaded with dirt or I could have never moved it. There are tricks to plowing, I have a new appreciation for those old farmers who used to plow for 3 weeks straight. It's a rough job for sure.

Over the weekend I finished building a fabric carrier for the loader QA. Then out the tooth bar on the bucket and started removing topsoil for a new driveway.

I helped my Uncle, almost got stuck while trying to dig some ditches for him to divert some water for a garden spot. The ground hasn't seen a machine in 20 years or more, the whole area is like a swamp. The worst part was busting a hydraulic hose on the FEL trying to get out. Luckily my cousin has a hydraulic and machine shop. LOL, next door to Kubota. It worked out good and we were up and running in about and hour.

What did I DO to my tractor? I greased all the fittings I could find on my JD 2210 - now, about the U-joint almost impossible to get to fittings - I still have to figure out how to get to those!

you need to get what they call a needle greaser it looks like a pencil with a grease fitting on the end you push it in to the little ball at the end of the grease fitting in the U joint :thumbsup:

i put a new cutting edge on my bucket B1750 kubota and welded up the split in it thats what i get for letting my sons use it lol 4 hr of fun welding :thumbsup:

I drove to Missouri looking for a bargain on a 55hp & 95hp cab & air 4X4 with R-4 tires & heavy duty front loaders with rootrake grapples & buckets & shuttle drive and a bargain on a Woods BW180 with chains & foam filled aircraft tires ( best so far $10,500 ). I bought it as 'good' 70thousand miles and running great when taken out motor

Put it in my Land Rover and it would only fire properly on 3 cylinders

It's a 200 tdi (2.5 4 cyl Turbo Diesel)

Took motor out and found a bent conrod on No 4

Some people tell lies when selling motors, I wouldn't but some do unfortunately

Bought hydro/trans filters at a dealer today. They look a bit differently but part number is the same.
