What do you do with your forks?

If you stand beside fork, lift locking pin, and lift fork, a bit, with one hand and push top with other hand they move easily. You can put a bunch of grease on top rail but, that creates more problem than it solves. Sent from my iPad using TractorByNet

Tried that, unfortunately it was still difficult to move. I resorted to kicking the **** out of it.

JR;

Are you opening the lock pin on top of the fork? It should not be that difficult to move forks?

Yes, the lock pin was removed. They were very difficult to get on the frame as well. I've dealt with forks before, just not manufactured this poorly.

My forks made by An sung are also very difficult to slide fit nice and tight no issues with them popping off. They are light duty though probably weigh hundred pounds less.

Fwiw, the forks are extremely tight and difficult to slide on the frame. All in all, I'd say this hasn't been my favorite tractor related transaction.

My Pin Top Forks are easy to slide. :D :thumbsup:

Even the 48" Block Forks on the rusty shaft slide easy.

Will be buying forks for my Kubota B7800 30hp tractor soon.

Kubota sells a set with 36" forks for this model. Any disadvantage to getting 36"
forks instead of what seems to be the more popular 42" size forks?

Also, I have recently seen 24" landscaping forks. How are these used?

36 is pretty short. You may have trouble seeing the tips over the hood. Mine is a little bigger and 48 is min IMO. Sometimes wish I got 60"

Have a set of Titan 48" x 4000lb. clamp-on forks and stabilizer bar for sale in the TBN Private Party Adds at a great price.

Bought them for our Kubota B2710 which we sold back in November. Used only twice so essentially brand new. We are in Texas.
