And why either trailer.
I have a deck over and I love the space, 212.5 square feet of deck space, My friend Pierre found it when I was looking for a 22' 14 K tilt for around 4 K
And I ended up with a 25' D/O
Thanks
:)

I like deckovers because I think they're more versatile. You can load them up with debris, haul it somewhere else, and push it off over one side with a loader. The wheels are protected from impact damage in tight spaces/turns. They're typically heavier built with no rail system for support.

IMO, the only good reason for choosing a conventional deck is to stay under 13'6"...

Deckover, no contest. My tractors and equipment are usually 90+ inches wide, so if the deck fits, wear it... :)

Low deck heights are nice but they're too limited when floating equipment. I've got a low-deck car hauler which is sweet for narrower loads, but is next to useless for wide vehicles and more complex loads. Some of that problem is the hollow center design that I've filled in with 2x10s though.

Deck over hands down
How else can you load with a forklift/loader or haul oversize/wide loads

Like stated before it depends on the task. I like my 18' utility trailer for hauling cars, furniture, small tractors 45HP or less, and lumber. The GN deck over is good for the big loads like round bales and large machinery.

I have owned both, 18' utility trailer w 2 3500# axles and ramp gate(s) for hauling mowers and a 20' (10K) deckover for landscaping and related equipment. Depends on the overall use, I prefer the deckover to the versatility.

I really like your truck, Mr Jimi

My F-550 Pick up? I don't think your talking about my Chevy S-10 or my stepvan LOL
You can buy a cab/chassis much cheaper than a regular PU and just put a flatbed on it and poof, your done
I haven't touched in over a week. The bed needs more brackets and I need to get some dually fender mounting bolts soon. It's to cold to work in the garage in Florida
Thanks
