GWS, now I can agree with that and see your point. I used mine in the middle of 30,000+ private acres so I wasn't interfering with any one. Especially considering that it didn't work. This conversation as far as I can tell began about the little hand helds not the 50 watt sets with fixed relay stations. A tad bit of difference but I do see your point. With the cost of Nextel and other systems why would you spend several k on a public system ??? just curious. Dave
