I think there are several things that are obvious and some that are not, 1) Riding with the fel loaded to high in the air, 2) Tire pressure forcing the tire off the rim. 3) Pulling from the top mount on the 3 point will flip you over back wards. 4) pulling or lifting from the corner of the loader. Ballast is probably the most important thing and just common sense. Be ware of things falling from overhead too out of trees, from your barn

I've come close, but not rolled mine. My sand mound is pretty steep, pucker factor can be big while mowing. I plan to regrade the area to eliminate the problem.

LOL, somebodies gonna get in trouble if somebody else see's this post :D :D

With no FEL or BH mounted my BX23 is less tippy then any other machine I've owned. This includes riding mowers.
That said, adding an FEL redistributes the center of gravity higher which makes it more top heavy hense more tippy. Adding a load to the FEL makes even more top heavy. Adding the BH to that and the center of gravity is very high.
Likes been said, when traveling with the FEL, keep it low no matter whether it's loaded or not as this will keep the center of gravity lower. When traveling with the BH, reduce your speed even more and be careful on rough uneven terrain.
The more the load, the higher the probability of tipping.
Just be careful and enjoy

Regrading my sound mound was when I got my first real pucker. I am planting grass in the spring. After 3 tandem axles of top soil dumped on the back side, it should be more comfortably to ride across.:D

most of my scarry situations have happened on the side of a hill, since thats most of my property its a regualar occurace. One thing i do is when I get in a situation i have that FEL on the ground or real close to it, sometimes I slide it across the ground holding the weight of the front end on the bucket. That is not always possible but in a confined area/situation it works pretty good at setting you level. I also will lower the downhill side out rigger down real close to the ground, I dont know it this will stop me from rolling over but it has stoped the motion once or twice, how far it would have gone i duno. I carry alot of rocks around with the FEL and sometimes just the weight from that in an area where you go all the time can cause things to get scarry. My advice to you is, when your hauling a load or on a slope go SLOW and dont take your eyes off the ball. I have had the thing in the situation where the FEL was on the ground, outrigger down, and the BH swung up hill to maybe help add some counter weight and drove out. Drive it, learn it, use it, but dont ever take it for granted.

rops go up, seat belt gets fastened !!

Something I've done often when using my neighbor's BX22 is when I'm working sideways on a slight slope, I turn the backhoe boom to the uphill side. Not sure how much it helps, but redistributing some of that weight towards the hill has got to be a little better than having it hanging out there parallel to the hill. The machine does seem a bit less tippy when I do that than if I leave the hoe in line with the tractor in those situations.

I've gotten to 25° (measured w/ carpenter's plumbing protractor) of sidehill with my bushhog lowered and FEL dragging ... thought I had a pic, can't find it. I alwars sit on the uphill side of seat ... sometimes only 1/4 of downhill bun on seat
Agree w/ lowering outrigger when you have the BH on ... Also, AGREE w/ swinging the boom uphill, having defied rollover carrying way too big of a rock w/ bucket and thumb.
Nice seeing the *majority* of folks that actually have used a BX responding to this thread :)

I don't have a photo but I til a pretty steep sidehill along the road and the attached photo shows a good stuck at a pretty good angle but rolling really wasn't much of a concern. Had to tow it out though.
