What dumb thing did you do today?

If my post time is correct I'm embarrassed that your up at 4am on a Saturday morning..........

Your post time is correct, but I had been up for hours.

I got sick a few years ago, and it really messes with my sleeping schedule. When and where I sleep is anyone's guess. I typically start out in the bedroom, but once I start flopping around, I hate to wake Katie, so I move to the couch. I might go to sleep then, or I might be up for a few hours. In either case, I TRY to not get up before 2 AM, but this week I cannot seem to sleep past 1:30 AM. But I could be on here at any time, day or night.

I have been like this for years, but no doctor can figure out why. I was up at 2:30 AM today...which is pretty typical for me.

My wife had apparently never used superglue before, so she didn't know that it pretty much bonds instantly to the skin. She asked today to borrow the glue to fix an easter decoration that had broken. She got some stuck on her index finger and touched her thumb to it and commented how sticky it was. Then she pressed her index and thumb together making the OK symbol and said it's OK Glue and laughed. Then said her fingers were stuck, why were they stuck and she couldn't get them apart. This is a lesson I learned as a youth, quite a few times. I don't know how anyone could make it to their adult life without realizing the effects of superglue. She started panicking and I was laughing.

And I said "How dumb are you?" jokingly of course. And that was the dumb thing that I did today. Didn't get any desert after dinner :(

Acetone will get them apart...fingernail polish remover.

Ha! I had that happen to me with concrete reinforcement wire. Impaled both hands and head. Gotta watch that stuff. Some hair may have helped lesson the impact. :cool2: Glad you're OK.
I've become my Dad. I used to tell him to wear a helmet.

I don't wear steel toes around equipment, there've been too many people lose their toes because of "safety" boots. Then again I don't own a set of flip flops.

Simple.
Watch where you walk!
I never have worn safety shoes, have trampled junk in containers and worked construction.
BUT, I always look to where my feet are going.

:) Sometimes we gotta just do the best we can and see what happens. They say we're suppose to get 8 hr sleep but most of my nights are 6 hr.

This happened a couple of years ago. I thought I was going to be frugal and buy one of those printer cartridge refill kits. All the instructions were pretty straightforward and simple. I was thinking man, this is saving a lot of money . So, I am filling a black cartridge with the included syringe..... POP !! The darn cartridge exploded all over, me, the table, and the wifey (who was watching standing next to me). Let me tell you, that black ink does not come off....anything!
We went into the bathroom.... we both looked like Dalmatians! We tried everything to get the spots off... nothing worked including lacquer thinner! I had to go to work looking like that... needless to say, a bunch of joking co-workers for days. Finally, the spots wore off / washed off after about a week.

It does not matter... I will pay whatever they charge for ink cartridges....

I realize I'm a few days behind... But I'm guessing sunscreen lotion would have taken the ink off. Our granddaughter got a hold of a sharpie and completely covered her face, arms and legs - Instead of killing her child, our daughter dropped her off at our house. I know the pictures reside on Facebook somewhere but I can't find them. Anyway - my wife gooped her up with sunscreen and wiped the black right off with paper towels.

I've always had good luck removing ink or paint with Baby Oil. Now, I'll be trying Sunscreen.
