that sounds absolutely terrifying to me.
It is instant pain relief if it is not broken.

That is exactly what happened. My old Delta table saw never had one of those splitters anywayThat's a riving knife. It will prevent a cut from closing back together when ripping a board with wonky grain, leading to a pinch and kickback, but it wouldn't have any effect on plywood and it won't prevent all kickbacks. If a board somehow gets crooked between the fence and blade, there could still be a pretty bad kickback. I had that happen once and it was like getting kicked in the gut.
It looks almost like it has a anti-kickback device on it as well, something sort of like this:That's a riving knife. Changing the oil in the kubota zero turn now it's mow season. My exwife stopped to take the kids for a walk since that's the only time she see's them is for a brief walk once or twice a week. So she leaves and i get back to the change. Add 4 quarters, and then i see it seeping from the side on the ground. Turns out with the interuption I forgot to put the oil plug back in. $40 down the drain. The worst part is, about 6-7 years ago the exact same thing happened with my truck, she shows up mid oil change, no plug, and 3 gallons on the ground. Wonder if we'll see any of those dropping oil prices on the shelves?
Wonder if we'll see any of those dropping oil prices on the shelves? I have been wondering if propane price has dropped, I need to call my supplier and check.
