Wonder if we'll see any of those dropping oil prices on the shelves? I have been wondering if propane price has dropped, I need to call my supplier and check.

Not today, but two weekends ago I sent a soil sample for my garden down to the soil lab... putting it in a Priority Mail envelope which I then taped shut. The postmistress said that it was find, so off it went.
USPS tracking stinks, for lack of a better way of putting it. For 10 days all that I get is a message

Your package is moving within the USPS network and is on track to be delivered to its final destination. It is currently in transit to the next facility.

The lab is 70 miles away, twice since mailing it I've driven right through the town. It would have been so much simpler just to swing in and drop it off.

Cleaning the yard from a winter collection courtesy of my dogs - went to dump into my burning pit. Oops - never locked the bucket in place. Thank goodness it wasn’t at the empty end of my pit where it would have dropped into 6 feet of spring run-off water.

Last week, my heating oil was at $2.22 and propane was at $3.37. Quick to raise, slow to lower.

2 weeks ago I filled my oil tank for 1.45, now it痴 1.39.

This just happened. I was putting the BH on and need to lube the implement and tractor, but after 2 squirts I ran out of grease. I walked down to the house and grabbed my last cartridge, then decided to take the trash to the transfer station.
Upon getting back home that last cartridge is nowhere to be found... apparently it’s in one of my trash bags.
