I ordered a nice plastic pallet, the most common pallet size and 6000 pound capacity, to fit in my car. I also plan to use it as a work platform or scaffold, noting that unlike boards it can't slip sideways off the forks or tilt off because the tines pass inside it. I'll find a convenient spot to chain it to the fork frame so it can't slip off the ends, too, if I'm relying on it not to fall. (Yes, FELs aren't supposed to be counted on for safety, but I think a fall from 4 or 6 feet is a small enough risk.)
And the pallet arrived the other day.
When I order something big and heavy and rough, it arrives on a pallet. The most recent example would be the pallet forks themselves. But when I got this pallet, it arrived in a full sturdy cardboard box, with big "FRAGILE" stickers on it.
