What Happened to Thomas of New Hampshire

Well this is strange. I called the college today and got the chemistry dept. In morning he is not in yet. Called in the afternoon and they said that he should be back in ten minutes or so. Called back in fifteen minutes and was told he has probably left for the day since he is not answering his phone. They said that they have nothing to do with him but he is in the same building downstairs.
Called house yesterday and got an answering machine.
Yes he does talk about riding his harley in earlier posts. But to take a two month trip and not say boo. Just doesn't seem like his doing. Well maybe he fell in love. Lets hope so.
Pete I've read your posts but never really replied back to one but let me say this. Thanks for taking your personal time to maybe get to the bottom of this. Good luck tomorrow.
Bubba. don't be so short sighted Muhummad is really a nice guy, I think at least I guess ur um. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif Maybe it's best on that to agree to disagree. yea thats the ticket. But Muhummad doesn't own a tractor. /w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif But he sure does have a nice forum!/w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Again, I don't know Thomas... but it's highly unusual he would up and leave and go off without some "last words" as the Thomas trademark...
And if a woman is at Thomas' home listening to the many messages of concern... why wouldn't she quell any fear and at least call someone back... even someone that said call collect?
College semester ended about a month ago, Thomas "disappeared" around 2 1/2 months ago...
I sure hope he's having a great time, cause he's got lots of explaining to do when he comes back... /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

It very well could be that he took some time to "smell the roses" especially after a possible traumatic experience.

Pete, as several have already said, you're really going "above and beyond" on this. But I think I've gotten to know you, and it doesn't surprise me.
As someone already said, the beautiful thing about this forum is how much everyone cares for each other. Pete once called it a community, but I think it's going even beyond that, and become a family.
Let's just pray Thomas is alright. I'm worried, and I don't even know him!

This thread is just one of the many reasons I consider TBN to be one of the best web distinations out there! Quite odd about Thomas, but sounds like we'll know something soon.

Didn\'t find him, but...
With the help of the local police (who say he was in the kitchen when they checked on him yesterday) I found the general location...and with a stroke of luck I stumbled across his next door neighbor who assured us Thomas is fine. He still has the little toy Kubota glued to the top of his mailbox. The house is obviously cared for...but nobody home. So I left a personal note, copies of many of your posts expressing concern, my 800# so he can call in case his PC is dead, and lots of coffee with a promise for more if he posts. Of course before finding his house I gave coffee bribes to the local Kubota dealer (Thomas was there in late May), and the local Honda motorcycle dealer. Also left coffee and a message with the helpful neighbor.
At this point all bases are covered. If Thomas wants to be in touch he will. If he doesn't, he at least knows we care for him. Also if he doesn't, I can only assume there's a reason and will respect his wishes for privacy.
