What have you done to your Branson today?

I like the chain link hose clamped to your cylinder, ptsg. I tie mine up with a piece of rope, but your method is a much better. One other thing I did was tape the end of an old tape measure to the cylinder sticking out toward the back so I could see at a glance the exact amount of cylinder extension I am set at. This is particularly helpful when box blading.

Thanks Cougfan! I had this big chain laying around, but it only had like 15" length. Couldn't really use it for anything so I just snapped a link from the chain. I also didn't want to weld anything to the cylinder to avoid distortion. It worked out nicely.

That's also a great idea with the tape measure. It's not very common to use box blade over here so I don't really need it but would be nice to see how much it creeps and would probably be faster to attach implements as you can get the length preset.

Did the 55 gallon barrel ballast last night. Genius and thanks to whoever came up with that idea. Just waiting for the concrete to set.

Got a hydraulic top link and Gearmore box blade with hydro rippers installed. Going to do some backfilling tomorrow. Most likely next item on the list I'm going to find out right away is a dose of beet juice/rim guard ballast in the tires. My wheels oddly enough don't seem to have any mounting holes for cast iron wheel weights.

Hauled some logs to process for firewood on this bad boy trailer. It was a military all purpose 4’ x 10’ trailer with 6k lbs rating. Made logging forks for it. Did a cord today and my boys have approx 9 more cords to do. It’s real handy to have this trailer so I wouldn’t have to shuttle the logs with just the grapple. Definitely a time saver!

On the joystick, yes it is. Got it that way from the dealer when I ordered the 3rd function & 2 rear remote setup.

Interesting. The offering from my dealer was a diverter and I didn't like how it ran the hoses. It did have a replacement loader handle that incorporated the switch and kept the factory shape. Unfortunately only available with the full kit.

Thanks! It really seemed to help the traction and back end "float" when carrying dirt. I should clarify that the fluid was on clearance. I picked up a drill powered pump and fill valve at TSC. Worked like a champ!

I attempted to change oil on mine. I had it running and then climbed out of my 6yd hyd dump trailer I tow it in.. and then it just died. I bought it new and took advantage of the zero % financing almost 11 yrs ago. Have been using it for my self employment ever since.

My grill has been gone for several years.. this means no headlights as well.

My grill got broke out a few years ago.. so my headlights went bye bye then too.. I have some LED's for it I need to get wired up. A 30" light bar for the front, a 9" and a pair of 4" square LEDS for the rear and 2 more 4" squares for the front by the brush guard.

I had a D-ring welded on the top center and a couple of weld on hooks on either side on the top lip of my bucket years ago. One of the best mods anyone can do. Makes sure to always lift from the center of the bucket. Lesson learned the hard way. I used the left corner to pry up some asphalt.. it bent something on the front loader.. and the left side always touches to the ground first. It's not much, but I notice it.

I got up at 6 AM today and laid out the chains and straps and 6000 pound come along. Dug the mud from behind the rear tires and started cranking. After about 30 minutes, I had cranked it back to solid ground and was sitting at my desk at work by 930. It was almost fun pulling it out. Almost.
