A toolbox is sorely needed. The cupholder is nice and gets some use but I'm similar to Hombre above regarding cupholders. ^^^^^

Factory offered toolboxes are always $300+ or some ridiculous price!

I have no cup holder, but I definitely would like to have a place to put my 30oz stainless "R-tic/Yeti/Ozark Trail" insulated cup.

Sometime when i get the chance.
Still need to get my 3-pt hitch working first.

Branson needs to design a factory tool box. Who all thinks so? Need to hear from people like you in order to make it happen.

Definitely Branson's could use a tool box! I installed an ammo box for tools on my own, but it is too small, and I am not happy with the only good place I found to put it. While you are talking to the factory, and if you have any pull with them.... other small complaints; The seat could go back further. The position detents on the remote rear hydraulics are way to soft making it impossible to control accurately. The heater/ air conditioner vents outlets (cab model) are non-adjustable. The fuel tank needs to be bigger on the cab models. Factory chain hooks for the bucket would be nice. My head is forever bumping the overhead cab light, turning it on and off. The exhaust pipe on the 4720 blows forward, blowing chaff into the radiator. It could use a second power outlet (Cigarette lighter plug) and a couple USB outlets. The cup holder is too small in diameter for my coffee mug, and needs a drain hole (now I am really getting picky:)).

Don't get me wrong, It is still a great tractor and a great value. The list of things they did right would be much longer. I am not sorry I purchased it in the least, but every machine ever made could always be better.

I don’t think any manufacturer puts chain hooks on buckets. Seems like a no brainer, almost everyone puts them on. Would be nice if manufacturers did it.

Those are all legitimate gripes… Many of those things can be rectified at very little to no cost.
Sometimes, a better design doesn't have to mean any added cost of the product.

I have often thought the same thing about my tractor… Some things could just be designed better, if they had just put more thought into it.
Without making it more expensive.

Diff lock should be on the left side on HST open station tractors. It's tough to use on the right.

I've yet to own a vehicle that didn't have something that could be improved. Italian motorcycles are the worst for that- lots of brilliant design and execution with some real WTFs.

I put the tractor in cruise when using the diff lock which is impossible to use for me otherwise.

I would like to have my exhaust exit out the top of the hood, and not down and in front of the radiator. I'd like to have a chaff screen in front of the AC condensor and oil cooler, not just the radiator. I'd like the air cleaner to be easy to take off and inspect. I wouldn't mind a bigger fuel tank, and a sight glass on the side for filling without overfilling would be nice too.

My AC/heat vents are adjustable, and my diff lock is on the left side on my cab model.

I must apologise to Branson and everyone who reads this forum. My vents are adjustable too. I tried to adjust one once well over a year ago when I first got the tractor. It didn't move so I just assumed they were fixed in the outward blowing position and never tried again. After Slim's comment I went out and looked at mine closer. Sure enough, with a just little more pressure they freed up and are now indeed fully adjustable. Wish I knew that last summer!

Lol,

It's ok Cougs, I guess I thought maybe that was one of the changes made in the 25 series cabs from the 20 series.

At least now you can be more comfortable.

:D
