Do you have a trail near or through your property? It's funny to see you rescuing so many of these and they're not even yours.

Yes we do have some trails here, plus the Police don't mind if you drive on the road.

The rescues are what happens when you dont take care of your toys + old gasoline.
Im trying to convince them to trade those dogs in on a new one!

My Technician found a source of my bucket drift. Months ago he isolated these cylinders and they proved fine. It just goes to show me that things are alright until they are not.

Tested my "new" implement the other day. It's a potato planter, but essentially does 3 things at the same time: Closes the last furrow, opens the next one and marks the ground for the next pass.

It does require some labor to put the potatoes in the furrow, but that's ok, we're not doing huge fields.

The test went somewhat ok, some minor tweaks need to be done but the soil, being clay and very wet, made these big clumps of clay which kinda defeats the purpose.

It really needs to be tested once the ground is a lot drier, almost like sand.

As you can see, not quite the result I was looking for.

This is a better example of what it should be doing:

The ground finally dried enough that we could finally plant the potatoes. We used this attachment and it actually worked awesome. A couple of adjustments on the first and second row, then it was smooth sailing and saved soooo much hand work.

The draft control was key to keep constant depth and made it so I didn't have to babysit the 3 pt lever. I just had to focus where I was going.

We did an area of about 300 sq ft. What would have taken us maybe 3 or 4 hours doing it by hand, turned into a 1 hour job and mostly taking our time.

Don't have any pictures though. We were trying to get it done before the rain sets in again.

Hit a milestone today on my Branson as I was moving some stumps and some dirt. 500 hours! Only 500 hours but lots of work done during that time. So far so good.

Fun fact: Just for the kicks, I timed the hour meter the other day. Every tenth is spot on 6 minutes to the exact second.

My mechanic replaced the seals in both my bucket cylinders. There’s a really neat DIY trick to install the cup seals on the piston located on YouTube.

this is so useful with small o-rings as well, never thought to try it with these bigger seals, definitely trying this the next time i have to repack a cylinder
