And I finally got around to pulling some maintenance...way overdue... Engine: oil, filter; Blower: flipped scraper bar, disassembled & lubed chain, bearings, etc. Now I need to get to the hydraulic oil!

BTW: for those who have the 2300 series tractors, I had a recurring issue with the headlight switch: water would get under it, then freeze. Solved the problem with one of those short, fat rubber bands around the base. It makes just enough contact with the base of the instrument panel to prevent water from wicking under the switch base -- no more frozen headlight switch!

Talked to Mark at RetailRems and ordered sentinel shield for my GC2400, he provided instruction on how to use my existing u-bracket with the sentinel.
all in all a very informative and easy transaction, gonna have to work on it outside in winter to mount though LOL

edit: forgot to include link

wanted to order left side step also, disabled vet with 2 messed up knees, could not do it but I will be ordering that asap once I do few tilling jobs.

Thank you for your service. I bought the left side step and it made a world of difference getting onto the tractor. Well worth the price.

tried to get my 5ft box scraper out of the ice, had sunk in 2" and all tines and frame frozen. so with the GC2400 tried with bucket, rear tires in air. tried with 3pt front tires in air.
tried tug with chain hooked to the hitch receiver on rear and suddenly Dave was in the air making love to a steering wheel.
I would advise against that for you single guys.

was gonna try with the 1532 up the road but...meh...got a 4wd truck here lets make it earn its keep.

tried with the 2019 silverado (1ft slack in chain, low range, heavy foot on throttle) and scraper flew in the air.
wish I had recorded it. I mean it was in the air. I had to speed up just to keep it off my hood.

course the cheap GM tow hook deflected 1/4 inch, whatever can still get chain through it and I've replaced MANY of these, easy job.

I then mounted the box blade to the 2400 and scarred the ice (approx 1200 ft long by 26 ft wide) on private road here.

then did a BUNCH of bucket/snow removal around shed and house and drove into trailer to remove 4" ice.
old 2400 earned her keep today

I needed more 3 point lift on my GC1723 for my Tractor Supply post hole digger, with the 4 foot long augers. The augers were dragging on the ground a little. So I swapped out the original side lift arms for two Tractor Supply lift arms that are adjustable and only $28.00 each. They are advertised for Kubota, but they fit my Massey. I only had difficulty using the highest hole position. I can still adjust for more height if I turn the top screws in more and just not use the highest hole. https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/kubota-side-link-873-159750?cm_vc=-10005

In the past, I've had issues with drive shaft propelled attachments, when raising things up higher than they were designed for. At some point you are pulling on the shaft in the transmission, which can over stress the internal stops, and seals.

I would suggest limiting use when it's raised all the way up, or perhaps not even engaging the PTO until you've lowered it some. At least until you feel confident it's not causing any problems.

I hope your fix solves the clearance issue.

Good advice ray66v. I only need to lift the 3 point to raise the auger off the ground a little when moving the tractor. The PTO would be off until I lower the auger and start drilling again.Thanks.
