2) I can get higher quality assistance for my Yanmar YM 3110D here than
is possible for a Ford Pickup. :D :D

The top line reminds me of my buddie's t-shirt.

Looks like most (not all) of the things people have mentioned learning have to do with their tractors. Now that's certainly to be expected since this is, after, tractorbynet. And I, long ago, lost count of the number of questions I've had answered on the forums and things I've learned about tractors, hydraulics, fuel and lubricants, implements, and their uses. I did my own top 'n tilt on my B2710, and never would have attempted that if it hadn't been for the help I got here.

But while those are things you might expect, I've also learned more about plumbing, electrical work, paints and other wood and metal preservatives, computers, all kinds of construction, and the list goes on and on with no end. It seems that no matter what the question, we probably have members who can answer it. And not only can they answer it, but they're willing to help anyone.

So I've not only learned an amazing amount, I've had fun doing it.

I have learned if I had a hour meter for the time I spend on TBN It would be time to trade up!

This is better than spending time with relatives, but not seat time.

I have learned more than I give, kinda like church.

I owe everybody breakfast ,meet you at CrackerBarrel in a hour.

Mmmmmm, breakfast.

I have learned a ton in this thread alone.

I have learned that I need a bigger tractor than I really can afford.

I have learned that I probably will buy it anyway.

I have learned that I really do need counselling because I am obsessed with tractors.

Hi Texasjohn,

Thanks for the response and the attachments, appreciate it, and they have started me thinking; especially the single bladed subsoiler. Have some areas where it looks like it would help with some "digging up", and I also want to bury some pipe going from the house to the shed, so it's hmmmm...:D

I will add one thing:
If you have a QA adapter on your loader just drop the bucket when you are mowing. Gives you more visibility and if you keep it low the cross bar will warn you of stumps.

Maybe more later

The only sin possibly greater than the ROPS modification, is removing the "Do Not Remove" tag from your mattress.

I have learned (among MANY other useful tidbits), that showing off my intelligence by answering a question will very quickly result in at least two responses containing the correct answer AND an explaination why my answer was wrong. (smiley face here) Where are those things anyway?

I've learned that no matter how much BTDT experience I have, no matter how many years I've made a good living with tractors, there's always a never ending supply of young know-it-alls that just recently bought the first tractor, moved on to 10 acres, and haven't burnt the first full tank of fuel yet , that are more than willing to tell me all about what they know regarding farming, tractor repair, even life in general, all the while, explaining how in 60+ years, I haven't learned one solitary thing. ;)

Note; I heard these EXACT same words uttered by my father about 45 years ago. Some things NEVER change.

Junk----You are one of those people I've found to be very helpful on this site and without good people the site is nothing. You go out of your way to give clear, articulate, detailed answers.
I really enjoy reading about your past experiences, your mowing business, and the new projects that you are always tackling.
