Well, did you figure it out?
Yes, the air control valve was bad and not releasing excess air. Eventually there was so much air in the tank it was being released into the pipes in the house. Amazon carries the valves and had it to me in one day. Hard part was removing the old one as it was a zinc casting threaded into a steel shell for 30 years. I put a pipe wrench on it and used a rolling floor jack to lift the handle. Thankfully it unscrewed rather than bust off, which would have been big trouble.

I had a similar issue a while back, and it turned out to be a tiny leak in the well pipe down in the well itself. It was sucking in air, which then made its way into the house lines.
Since you've got a well, it might be worth checking the connections and the pipe itself for any cracks or leaks.

This system is designed to suck in air and the tank has a float that releases excess air in the pressure tank.
