The AC lettering on top is definitely from AC/Delco, the electronics division of GM, not Allis Chalmers.

I know Allis Chalmers combines used a Tachometer to time the belts on the shakers depending on what you were harvesting. Clover seed, wheat, oats, etc..

The AC Delco parts was separate from the AC Delco Systems electronics.
