Not quite the same, but I was at a busy intersection leaving campus years ago and got stuck in a line of traffic. Not only was there an intersection but also we had to wait for pedestrians so for 10 minutes I would pull forward a car length, throw the clutch in and wait again.I do not know if this has been mentioned….
But right before I retired, I spent a lot of time in California, and I find that their allowance of motorcycles to ride the white line between traffic lanes is obnoxious along with very dangerous not to mention one of my all-time pet peeves….
I got almost to the intersection when I noticed a bike slowly sneaking past the traffic on the right. Just as the road cleared for me to go he got to my rear bumper. I looked him in the eye and said “I’ll run you right the **** over. He couldn’t hear me but certainly could tell what I said.
He stopped.
