What is some of your Pet Peeve's

I used to live next to one, and near several, antique covered bridges in Bucks County, PA. A truck would wipe out one or another every few years, and leave us residents stranded with long detours.

PennDOT hated them, and sometimes forced the townships to take over repairs and maintenance, versus tearing down and replacing with modern bridges. Sometimes they’d make them one-way only, which was a total PITA, but helped avoid collisions by two people trying to pass one another on a one-lane covered bridge.

Gas stations where the asphalt or concrete is saturated with spilled fuel around the pumps, particularly diesel. Nothing like tracking diesel on your shoes into your vehicle.

Worse is dog poop. Don't notice until down the road wife asks: "Did you fart?" Especially nice with carpet floor mats.

Just took the puppies for rabies shots, neither rides in vehicles or is really leash trained. Anyhoo one in the kennel one in my lap guess which one panicked and had to poop. Now they are not really little at 60# at a little over 5 months.

I'll counter that with a baby's diaper. I've never seen dog crap on an asphalt parking lot, but have seen disposable diapers on several occasions.

Why do you appear to be defending people who dump dirty diapers in the parking lot? I could say the same thing about stepping in dog ****, which is what my post was in reply to.

Mine: spit (or chewing gum) on the concrete in front of the gas pump.

What's your beef with traffic rotaries? Granted we've had them here in New England for decades, but once you get used to it, they do help traffic flow.

I didn't read his comment as defending people who do that, just that you'd need to be very oblivious to your surroundings to step on one compared to dog crap.
Can't say I've ever seen a dirty diaper in a parking lot though...maybe I need to get out more?
