I've been through at least 10 of them everyday for the last week, all 45 mph two-lane, and never any problem. The Florida Keys are absolutely littered with them. Best way I know, to keep a big mass of traffic moving at multi-lane intersections on local roads. There are so few in the US they are a disaster. People sit confused waiting for the entire roundabout to clear of traffic. Or they make them so small the big semi trucks can not navigate them.
Maybe just too much for you western-staters to handle? No issue on the east coast.
