What is this and what's it worth?

Recently bought a tractor that came with a 3PT hitch reservoir and PTO pump. How can I figure out what it's worth?

It's a hydraulic pump to provide power to all sorts of hydraulic things. Do you know what it's hooked up to? Do you have a Front End Loader and could this be powering it?

The color looks like a pretty old Yanmar and prolly has very little to no auxilary hydraulics. You might keep it around if you're ever thinking of powering a log splitter. Is there a valve on it?

I would say that might be a little high, but I could see it going to $400-600 if you can show that it works (perhaps a little more if the lines all hold).
It appears to be a Cross pump, probbaly somewhere between the current 50T019 and 50T023 pumps: 50T Series Pumps - Cross Mfg.
Not sure on the size of the tank, but it will probbaly need new hoses. You can get a new 25 gallon tank and 17 GPM pump for 750ish at Surplus Center.

Thanks. It's certainly a CROSS brand but I've had a very hard time matching any of the numbers on the unit to parts/models on Cross's website. Here are photos of the different numbers I've been using, unsuccessfully, to find more info on it. There's also a control valve with it. Not sure if that adds any value or not.

There are no aux valves on the tractor now that I removed this PTO pump. The loader is in such bad shape I'd prefer to trade/sell this PTO unit and get the loader working correctly.

Looking at Product ID - Cross Mfg. for interpretation:
Per http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...41760155-what-whats-worth-wp_20150908_016-jpg it was made in week 19 of 1984 and it was tested by P0
Per http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/...41760155-what-whats-worth-wp_20150908_015-jpg it has the control number (or PGR number) of 300211 (which should mean that its a 50 series)
Is there another set of numbers by the 300211 but closer to the back of the pump (where the 23 P is on the picture at Product ID - Cross Mfg. )?
I would call them and see if they can look it up by the control number.

Thanks. I'll have to have another look at it when I get back home on Saturday. I really appreciate the links. Hopefully I can sort this out. It's pretty clear WHAT it is at this point but maybe with your links I can figure out what the flow should be.

I finally found the correct tag on the unit to figure out what pump it is. Turns out to be a 50T019. My tractor has both 540 and 1000RPM PTO so it would run this at 12.3GPM or 22GPM. It's of no use to me so the whole assembly (pump, hoses, controller, tank, etc) is going up on craigslist.

Hopefully it's worth enough so I can fix a few things on my FEL and upgrade the controller.

G'day wooly just a question if there are no aux hyd on the tractor how are you going to run the FEL? It was prob fitted by the old owner to either create an oil supply for the loader or create a better oil oil supply to make the loader work faster. I would not be getting rid of it just yet until you have plumbed the loader into the tractor supply ( if it has one ) and see how quick it operates.

Fortunately the loader is already plumbed into the tractor's 3pt hydraulic system. It's a bit slow but it's a trade I'm willing to make to free up the rear of the machine. I believe this rear system was used to run a post pounder mounted on the FEL.
