...My dad use to tell me he wasn't perfect either. He once thought he made a mistake, but realized he was wrong about that.

I had a coworker use that line regularly. He also would say, "I used to think that you and I were the only two perfect people left, but lately I've started wondering about you."

Well, I'm no liar when it comes to fishing. I use the excuse that there's a big difference between fishing and catching, and I go fishing.

I also tell my wife that she needs to learn to go shopping the same way I go fishing... spend a lot of time, have a lot of fun; but don't come home with anything.
