Yeah, I know, very crass, but the first time I heard that was about 1955...and I thought it was hilarious!

I've also seen it as "your mother has a brother called Robert" but that sometimes takes too much thinking and they look at you sideways and walk away.

I took a course once to become a certified rigger and the instructor used that phrase after every teaching moment.
He'd do a complex math calculation figuring load, force, weight, angle, cable type, the number of pully's and after all those calcs he'd say " .....and Bob's your Uncle.
Never heard that before him saying it for the tree day course.
