What Makes Kubota Better Than Kioti

Sorry, is still stand by my assumption. To be able to buy maybe one thing new and other things used, is NOT being able to afford buying everything new. A friend always drives used trucks. Sure, he COULD buy new, but that extra money would have to be made up elsewhere. That's not really being able to afford a new vehicle. If I won the lottery, all my equipment and tools would be new barring any special circumstances. I always wanted a JD 450 C Dozer. That I would have to buy used.

Of course, if I wanted a helicopter or private jet, I once again, might have to go used.

I buy used and take pride in doing so from people that "can afford"....or, as they are more commonly known as "suckers". So please continue to provide us with 99% new vehicles for 40% less than the sucker that had to have it new as some point of pride or to make up for some obvious insecurity that makes them abandon basic cost-to-benifit analysis. We rely on your bad decisions! Lol

I also need to disagree with you on this one. Some of the wealthiest people that I know buy older vehicles; they got their money by being frugal. They spend their money on other things like real estate, or other investments. I know of one well off friend who buys $1000 beaters; if he wants to go on a road trip he rents something more dependable.

I am not one to say any brand is better but this recollection just came to mind.

When search CL for used tractors I have noticed over the years that Kioti owners sometimes list their tractor as Kubota (Kioti) or something to that effect. I have never seen a Kubota advertised as a Kioti.

So that tells me some Kioti owners must think Kubotas regarded higher.

I watch Craigslist and Pennswoods all the time in my area and have never seen that.

I usually buy low mileage used equipment. Saving money is only one of the reasons, and not the most important one.

I'm guessing these wealthy folks also buy their real estate, stocks, bonds, etc. used.

What is the title of this thread? Certainly seems to have veered off topic. A new thread covering the off- topic would likely become more of a political subject, not generally related to tractors.

Good comment. Here's an attempt at putting it back on the rails.

I think Kubota has created and defined the CUT market. It's good to be king of the hill.

It's also good that up and comers like LS and Kioti are challenging the king. Competition is good for the consumers in terms of price, quality and features. Kubota (and Deere) will be complacent at their own peril.

Both are good. Kubota has the market share and is trying to make inroads to the large farm tractor market. I prefer Kubota due to dealer convenience. I
