Ron Mar;
We are almost neighbors. If it wasnt for that boat ride I would come over and check out your tractor. I need to update my profile.

When are you taking me fishing :) hence the name.

Ooops.....I was told when I bought my Belarus 572 with Russian loader not to push in low gear 4wd against an imoveable object. The tractor was much more powerful than the frame of the loader.

A friend who also bought a 572 was lifting and pulling a VERY heavy object and one of the two lift cylinder rods bent. I respect the power of any tractor over the strength of the attachments.....seen a lot of twisted metal.

I havn't been fishing in years. Lived in Kodiak for a few years and it kinda spoiled me for fishing anywhere else. Grandkids are getting to that age now though so will probably get back into it. I know what you mean about the ferrys. The Edmonds-Kingston boat isn't too bad as long as you don't try it during the commute. When I goto Seattle I drive around. Even with gas so high, it is still cheaper. I don't know if that will still be true once they get the tollbooth in operation on the new Tacoma Narrows bridge.

I'd much prefer to have more tractor than implement.. vs the other way around... just have to be carefull about making the decorative metal pretzels out of the lighter duty implements... besides.. I'd rather fix a broken 200-300-500 dollar implement.. than have the implement survice and have to fix a 4000-6000-1000 dollar tractor!!

Update;
The company I purchased my tractor from gave me a new set of loader arms today. I have to do a little web work in trade but he was more than happy to make it right with me.

Over all I am happy with the tractor and the purchase/support. I still have reservations about the loader we will see. I know I will put it thru the ringers.

I am looking for PDF's and document's to put on there web site to support Jinma owners. IF you have part# pictures or other factual stuff that should be availble let me know and I will try and incorporate them into a dealers web site.
I will let you know the site when we get it working good.

Keep us posted.. especially if you do some custom bracing on it to make it stronger.

glad they are at least doing something.

Remember.. a cut and a bucket/blade does not a bulldozer make.

Hey.. I've seen too many bent lift arms to -not- pass on that advice... Lotsa people think if something has a blade or a bucket it can lift or push anything.
