I agree that some jobs will need to be hired out (likely with the money saved from the difference between the 1430 and 1445). However, I plan on being busy with this patch of land for the next 30-40 years... I don't want to get done with anything too quick. I do not think any CUT will fit my needs because about 1/3 of my property slopes down to the creek... too steep for my taste on a conventional tractor.
You are right about the dozer..they leave nothing but limestone in their wake
I really need a 1460 and HD tree shear for about a year. then a 425 would probably do.
1430 still seems to be percolating to the top of the list
