I have a 30hp kioti tractor and a 5ft house brush hog. Broke my shear pin for the first time and I’m not sure what size pin I should replace it with.

If I remember right:1/4"x4" grade #2 bolt.Do not use grade 5 or 8.

TSC sells a 4 pack of shear bolts and nuts that’s pretty cheap if you shop there. Comes in a retail pack with heat shrink plastic over cardboard so you can peel one off and then hang the remainder on a pegboard or toss in a tool box and have them together and clearly identified as to what they are....vs random loose hardware that accumulates.

Standard bolt 1/2"x 4" or 4.5" . Tractor supply sells them by the #.

Replace it with one that fits tightly in the shear pin hole whatever size that might be. There should be no slop in the shear pin, a tight fit is critical
