What teams will play in the next Superbowl?

Don't know much about it, except they wear loud shirts, funny shoes and once in a while some celebrities boob jumps out. Then everyone gets really excited, because I guess it is kind of a boring game.

I saw a Fb post that jokingly said that people down here were switching over to watch the test Cricket match in order to see some action.

I did have the game on 'in the background'.

If you don't appreciate football as a sport, that game would certainly boring due to extraordinary defensive performances. The "Over/Under" for this game was 57 points, meaning that bookmakers expected something like 29-28. It's equivalent to casual fans complaining that soccer is boring because of few goals.

The weather in Boston today is unseasonably warm: 56 F 13 C. Sky is sunny as well so huge crowds are expected: estimates of over one million. A bunch of them will be intoxicated, which doesn't make sense to me, but does to them.

Apparently many young women like to show Tom Brady and the other players what they are missing, which must be fun to see.

My daughter goes to Boston Latin School and she said teachers often give short, easy pop quizzes on parade days to punish anyone who skips school.

While we are talking about the idiocy of NFL management, refereese, and rules and the idiocy of fans, how about this?

Someone was shining a green laser in Brady's eyes in the previous round. Apparently this also occurred when the Chiefs played the Rams in Mexico City, so it points to a Chiefs fan. NFL Security is supposedly looking into it. The result will undoubtedly be a 100 page report that proves nothing.

In all seriousness, crowd counting in a sicene unto it's own, and rarely do public officials ever get it right because they ultimately have ulterior motives depending if the count is high or low.

Times square for example will actually only hold 86,000 people at a density of 5 people per sqare meter. But how many times have a million people been in times sqare watching the ball drop on news year eve?

Not knocking the parade, but I never take crowd counts seriously. Last year Philly at first claimed 3 million people were in on the parade :laughing:

The Saints got screwed, but that is unfair to the Patriots. Belichick has been on record for years about making more plays reviewable, BTW.

If the Saints had put the game away, that BS no-call wouldn't have mattered. They didn't, so the game got decided by an illegal play that the DB admitted was illegal.

Stop whining and get to work on getting to the SuperBowl next season.
