What to build? 72ft of 6" wide flat bar

Wow! How wide is that opened up?

40+ inches is my estimate. Looks about the same as mine which if I recall is about 42.

Mine hits the support tube too. Didn't notice it until the support tube was slightly bent. I just consider it part of the inevitable snaggletoothed look that most Ag equipment gets after a few years use.

I had to put a "Stroke Stopper" on my cylinder, because it was opening too far and hitting the boom when curled all the way up with the boom all the way down:

I cut a piece of 2-3/8 tubing to the needed length, cut it in half on the bandsaw, wrapped the rod with closed cell foam, then clamped it together

In hindsight, I know what I did wrong. I chose to saw off about one inch of the threaded portion of the ram as I I didn't want the grapple closing down so far with an overbite. Didn't think how that would change the how far it came back on the open. It is not touching bad at all. Time will tell if I need to modify anything. Ill chock it up to another dumb *** attack.
